Yale’s broader catalog runs from compact electric walkies and stand-up reach trucks up through counterbalanced trucks around 36,000 lbs at the high end — narrower than Hyster’s range, by design, since Yale’s engineering focus stays closer to warehouse and distribution work rather than heavy industrial lifting.

Every Yale that comes through our yard goes through the same inspection before it’s listed for sale. Our technicians check the engine or motor, hydraulic system, mast and lift chains, tires, and brakes, and anything that doesn’t meet our standard gets fixed before the unit goes up for sale.
On electric units specifically, that includes the battery and charging system — charge capacity, cell condition, connector wear — since that’s the part of an electric Yale most likely to determine how it actually performs on your floor, not just whether it runs.
Safety systems get checked separately: horn, lights, backup alarm, seat belt interlock, tilt and lift controls.

It depends on capacity and configuration, but most of the Yale units we carry — standard warehouse-class trucks in the 4,000–6,000-lb range — run $9,000 to $16,000 reconditioned. Same rule of thumb as any forklift: a single-shift operation puts roughly 2,000 hours a year on a truck, so a unit under 10,000–12,000 hours with documented maintenance is usually still a solid buy. For electric Yale units specifically, ask about battery age and cycle count along with hours — a low-hour truck on a worn-out battery isn’t actually the deal it looks like on paper.
